Filed under: Films watched in 07'
I remember reading that Sergio Leone claimed to have seen 10,000 films in a one year period. I am not sure if that is even physically possible, but the point being to understand what you can do as a filmmaker, you have to know what has been done before you.
I try and average between 1-3 films per day and have been doing this for about 10 years now and have tried a number of times in the past to keep a record of what I watch for no purpose other than for myself, but in all the moving around in life, that list always goes missing. I am once again going to attempt a record of the films I watch in 2007. Here is the list so far.

Comment: Not as many as I thought I would watch this year. Next year might be tougher. I am starting a new job and my wife and I are expecting our first child, so I expect lower numbers. But living in Thailand, I will be hitting the Bangkok Film festival this year. I missed both the 2005 through 2007 festivals, but I am back in 2008.
